Chicken Parmesan Melts

I found this recipe in one of the Kraft Food and Family Magazines and can't get enough of them. It's a fun twist on an amazing Italian favorite and it's so easy and fast!

Ingredients:
3 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cooked
1 small jar spaghetti sauce
1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
loaf of Italian or French bread
spreadable butter
garlic powder

Method:

Slice chicken breasts into thin slices across the width.

Add chicken and spaghetti sauce to a small sauce pan and heat throughly.

Slice bread in 3/4 -1 inch slices on the diagonal. Butter the bread and sprinkle garlic powder on top. Lay out slices on pizza pan or other sheet pan lined with foil.

Toast bread in oven or under broiler until tops are just starting to turn golden brown.

Take toasts out and spoon chicken on top. Sprinkle shredded cheese on top.

Put sandwiches back in oven at 350 F/180 C for 5-7 minutes or until cheese is melted.
