Creamy Mashed Potatoes














My favorite food...mashed potatoes!!! I've perfected this recipe by taking bits of things from my mom and my great-grandma Mathel's recipes. It's hard to write this one down because I usually just chuck stuff in and add a little more here and there until it tastes just right.

Ingredients:

4 large potatoes
2 Tbsp butter
1/4 cup milk
1/4 cup sour cream
1/4 cup cream cheese
1/2 tsp garlic salt
salt and pepper














Method:

Peel and cut potatoes in quarters. Boil for 20 minutes or until potatoes are tender enough to poke with a fork. Drain off water.

Put potatoes, butter, sour cream, and garlic salt in bowl and mash together with hand masher or hand mixer. Salt and pepper to taste.
