Breaded Pork Loin Chops

This is my home made alternative to making Shake and Bake pork chops. I can use my own ingredients and adjust the spices if I like. These are so easy to fry up ahead of time and then bake the rest of the way through right before you serve them.

Ingredients:
4 pork loin steaks
3 Tbsp vegetable oil
8 buttery crackers, finely crushed
1/4 cup flour
1 tsp seasoning salt
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1 egg
3 Tbsp milk

Method:

Trim off excess bone and fat from loin.

Mix egg and milk in a small flat dish. In another small flat dish mix together cracker crumbs, flour, seasoning salt, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.

Heat oil in skillet on med-high heat.

Dip pork loin in egg wash.

Next coat pork loin with cracker mixture on both sides.

Fry for 1-2 minutes on each side or until golden brown.

Place pork loins in baking dish in a single layer and bake for 30 minutes in a pre-heated oven of 350 F / 180 C.
