Make Your Favorite Chicken Meals...Faster!

Kitchen Tip:

A great way to help speed up the process in making some of your favorite chicken casserole dishes is to pre-cook and freeze packets of chicken.

Take a large 9x13" pan, lightly grease it and layout several boneless, skinless chicken breasts. Lightly season them with salt and pepper and bake the chicken for 30 minutes at 350 F/ 180 C or until done. The the chicken cool.

Next cube or shred the amounts of chicken you would use in some of your favorite recipes. Mark on the freezer bags what is in it, the amount and date. Then on the morning that you are planning to make your dish you can put the chicken in fridge the thaw or out on the counter for an hour or so.

Money Saving Tip:

A money saving tip is to buy meat in bulk at a cheaper price and then bag it in freezer bags with meal's serving size inside. You could also add your favorite marinades to the meat for a ready to go meal once they have thawed.
